Chattanooga’s Main Street area is on the rebound, and while walking through it last month I came upon a man holding a large piece of paper and staring intently at a mural in the works on the other side of the street. He turned out to be Shaun LaRose, master of murals and fine art.
Shaun’s mural is “There and Back Again,” and it is probably finished by now.

I am so glad you gave this young man credit. The mural was dedicated in late 2007 and is beautiful. I have interest in the mural because my great uncle and his fiance’ were the young couple strolling down Main Street. Thanks for your article.
