While driving across Tennessee, I came across a first for me: a barbecue joint with wifi access. The Hickory Pit is the place, and the town is Savannah, on the banks of the Tennessee River as it heads north across the state.
I’ve seen wifi in coffeeshops and airports, of course, but pulling out a laptop while enjoying a rack of ribs could be perilous. The Hickory Pit offers an entire rack of ribs that has been smoked for 12-14 hours for $14.99–one dollar more if you want baked beans, slaw, and a roll with them.
This raises one question? Do Wet ‘n Wipes work on laptop keyboards?
